By accessing or using csvdiff.app ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

csvdiff.app is a browser-based tool that allows users to compare two CSV or JSON files, identify differences, resolve conflicts, and export merged results. All file processing occurs entirely within your browser — no files are uploaded to our servers.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• –Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the Service
• –Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access
• –Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• –Use automated means to access the Service in a way that could damage or overburden it

The AI summary and match-key suggestion features require you to provide your own API key from a third-party provider (Google Gemini or OpenRouter). Your API key and any data sent to generate AI summaries are governed by the terms and privacy policies of those respective providers. csvdiff.app does not store, transmit, or log your API keys or file contents.

All content, design, and code of csvdiff.app is the property of its creators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, csvdiff.app and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
